Yorkshire Lofts have just completed our loft conversion. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. We were kept informed of the progress each day and made aware of the days when work would be particularly messy or dirty.
The men were hard working and polite. I found them to be trustworthy and honest. The best bit – they always cleaned up at the end of each day!
I would really recommend them to other people in the future. My loft is everything I wanted it to be. The work was completed within the quoted time, and I didn’t find any faults with the job.

After approaching them, everything went so smoothly and the new loft room was ready for our visiting relatives. We are so happy with the new room, the only problem is that we now want an en-suite in all of our bedrooms!

We can’t speak highly enough about our experience with Yorkshire Lofts. We were introduced to Leon and his wonderful team of workers and within a couple of weeks, our loft was started. Our one request to Leon was that he keep us informed at all times, which he did. He told us what was happening and when, and usually when he said things would happen or builders would arrive they did. On the odd occasion when there were delays, he let us know immediately and when we could expect things to start up again. What a reassurance to be treated with the respect and honesty at all times. It made life very simple when we knew what to expect. This was so different to our previous experience of builders. What we especially appreciated was that someone was always available on the other end of the phone. When we had a problem caused by our previous builders, Leon came over immediately and sorted out the leaking roof for us and explained what had to be done to fix it.
Leon and his team were very polite, respectful and extremely hard working. If it meant staying until 9pm at night to get things finished so as not to hold things up, this is what they did. You never felt that you had a large number of men in your house. They were very easy to have around.
From the off, we felt very much that the team were not just hurrying to get the job done quickly, but were trying to get us the best possible loft conversion for our needs. We wanted two bedrooms and a bathroom for our children. It meant getting rid of an existing box room so that the set of stairs could be started in that space. The advice we received from them was very helpful and it resulted in us changing the position of the loft bathroom. When we wanted to change a wall that had already been framed up, they were more than happy to do so for us. From start to finish the whole thing took about 8 weeks and this included a week when nothing much happened while we were waiting for windows to arrive.
The result is a wonderful addition to our home. Our children are happily living in their new bedrooms upstairs and we have a floor to ourselves with our room, bathroom and a lovely guest room. We would very happily recommend Yorkshire Lofts. They were extremely professional and gave us exactly what we wanted on time and on budget. We have had the most unbelievable comments from all our visitors who are all very impressed. Thank you to Leon and your team.
